IRIS Payments activation is done through the app of the bank the user cooperates with. In most apps, this feature can be accessed through the “Settings” option, and all that is required from the user is to select their IRIS-linked account.

IRIS allows the payer to make purchases with a direct debit from their bank account using the internet banking service of their affiliated bank. The service supports internet banking from Alpha Bank, Piraeus Bank, National Bank of Greece, and Eurobank.

The process for payment via IRIS Payments is as follows:

1. Select IRIS Payments as your payment method at checkout.
2. Choose “Generate QR Code” so you can scan the QR code with your mobile banking app or select your bank and you will automatically be redirected to the secure environment of your bank’s e-banking.
3. Log in to your bank’s environment, and after secure login, you will be prompted to enter the payment details.
4. By giving your approval, the payment is made via a credit transfer from your bank account.
5. Complete the payment.
6. You will be automatically redirected back to the Converse eshop, where a transaction completion message will appear.
